MORE ABOUT OUR
PILATES classes
As a new client, we recommend you have at least one private session before entering any of the group classes. This is so you can benefit from the individual attention of a teacher, gaining a deeper understanding of your body and the method.
Classes are 50 minutes and we recommend 2/3 sessions a week for maximum results.
ONE TO ONE CLASSES
1:1 instruction is designed to meet your individual needs and goals. These are beneficial for everyone, especially if you want to address concerns such as posture and body alignment, work on specific areas of the body or progress your practise to the next level.
GROUP CLASSES
Classes are small - 4 in equipment and max 6 in a mat class. This intimate setting ensures movements are taught with precision and required modifications. You will create resilient, powerful muscles, decompress joints and create a strong and supportive core.
MATWORK CLASSES
The Classical Pilates Matwork is a flowing series of exercises performed on a mat. Without the support of the equipment, you will develop fundamental strength, stability and tone, whilst receiving an energetic workout.
REFORMER CLASSES
Built to the specific design of Joseph Pilates, the springs provide resistance and support, along with a moving carriage, straps and a footbar. You will benefit from coordination, strength and flexibility, and a complete full body workout.
TOWER CLASSES
Your workout will resemble Matwork with the benefit of springs but with more stability than the Reformer.
The various springs, pulleys and bars will strengthen, tone and stretch your entire body.
WUNDA CHAIR CLASSES
Generally seen as the most challenging piece of Pilates apparatus. A larger proportion of the exercises are performed sitting and standing which requires more balance, coordination and core strength.
